B.A.L.A — Bloomfield Aesthetics and Laser Academy — is a nurse- and laser-instructor-led training academy run out of Bala Aesthetics & Medispa in West Bloomfield, Michigan. Every student trains on live patients in a working medspa, with instructors who treat clients daily.
Whether you're an RN, NP, PA, or aesthetician expanding into medical aesthetics, our programs are built to give you hands-on clinical hours, anatomy-grounded technique, and the confidence to start treating patients safely on day one.
Every module is taught inside a working medspa. You'll treat real patients under the supervision of a licensed aesthetic nurse practitioner or certified laser instructor — not in a simulation lab.
Classes cap at a handful of students per cohort so every learner gets direct instructor attention, dedicated equipment time, and real feedback on technique.
