Modality: Tattoo Removal Laser
A focused laser certification for licensed providers who want to add tattoo removal to their practice. Walk in with fundamentals, walk out ready to treat real clients.
Medical license required for the hands-on clinical portion. Theory-only track available for non-licensed students.
Our Tattoo Removal Laser certification covers everything you need to treat ink safely and effectively. We start with the physics of laser-tissue interaction — wavelength selection, pulse duration, and fluence math — so you understand why Q-switch and picosecond devices work the way they do. Then we get into ink color theory: why black and blue clear fastest, why green and yellow resist treatment, and how to set accurate patient expectations from the first consultation.
The hands-on portion runs in our working medspa in West Bloomfield. You will work through multi-pass and multi-color treatment protocols on real cases under direct instructor supervision, charting each session and building the documentation habits that protect both patient and practitioner.
A valid laser safety certificate or applicable state license is required for the clinical portion. Students without a license can attend the theory track and upgrade to hands-on once credentialed. Most students complete the program in two days (Thursday 10 AM – 1:30 PM, Friday 10 AM – 6:30 PM).
